Bill was Documentum's User Interface Architect from 1994 to 1998. During this time they went from startup through a successful IPO and became the premier document management company. While there, Bill designed user interfaces for a variety of software applications and built and managed a highly successful user interface design group.

Over a span of four revisions, Bill overhauled Documentum's flagship document-management application, adding many new features and upgrades along the way. This application runs on Windows, Mac OS and Unix Motif, and is designed to be extensively customizable by Documentum customers.

Bill "wrote the book" on this graphical interface builder for the Documentum WorkSpace series of products.
